have a business idea or are you already
working on building a business?
MicroCredit-NH, a program of the
non-profit New Hampshire Community Loan
Fund, can assist you. The program
delivers business development resources
to the self-employed and microbusiness
owners (businesses with one to five
employees, including the owner). A free
program orientation about MicroCredit-NH
will be offered in Wolfeboro from 3 to 5
PM at the Wentworth Economic Development
Corporation (WEDCO), Citizens Bank
building on 7 Center Street. For more

Business Counselor Available in
Wolfeboro
The New Hampshire Small Business
Development Center (NHSBDC) partnering
with WEDCO will be providing business
advising services to Wolfeboro and the
surrounding communities.
Beginning July 16th, Chris Duffy,
SBDC Business Counselor will be available
for business advising 2 days a month at the
WEDCO office.
Sample counseling topics include business
planning, financial analysis, marketing,
accounting, cash flow projections, and new
business acquisition feasibility and
evaluation. Specialized counseling is also
available in environmental issues, access to
capital, manufacturing, and the food service
industry. The SBDC also offers a variety of
e-tools including 21 on-line small business
courses that can be accessed 24/7 through
the web site
www.nhsbdc.org. There is no cost
to the client for the management consulting

September 13th & October 4th - Consumer
Credit Counseling Service of NH and VT (CCCS NH/VT) will be presenting a series
of two beneficial workshops. The first
workshop “Credit Considerations” will
provide resources and guidance for building
a budget you can live with and live within;
additionally tips and techniques for
managing debt will be provided to help you
further make the most of your money. The
second workshop in the series “Identity
Theft Awareness” will focus on the growing
problem of identity theft in New Hampshire;
assess your risk, address ways to reduce
your risk and suggest action plans for those
who have already been victimized. For more
